Backstory
To every individual, there is a backstory. Memories, vulnerable pieces of our inner being. They mold us and compose us. They are fragile, malleable, and of utmost importance to our personal individuality. These memories at many times take the forms of stories. Stories we share, stories we treasure, stories we promise never to tell. And the act of storytelling, although simple on the surface, requires a complex transfer of ourselves to another. Here the innocence of storytelling will be stripped away, and in its place, an attempted universality will be left.
